Our Partners

There is a large support system available to help you resolve your conflict. Michigan Behavioral Health Mediation Services would like to thank our partners:

Mediation Centers

Across Michigan, Community Dispute Resolution Program centers are dedicated to helping residents resolve disputes. These centers offer mediation services through the Michigan Behavioral Health Mediation Services Program. In addition to offering mediation, they offer other services, including restorative justice processes, trainings, small group facilitation, coaching, and more.

Michigan Community Mediation Association

The Michigan Community Mediation Association advocates on behalf of and collaborates with the Community Dispute Resolution Program centers to promote mediation in Michigan.

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services provided the grant for the use of mediation as a first step in the dispute resolution process to foster better treatment relationships, and provide for a timelier agreement on what support and services will be provided by the responsible mental health agency.

Oakland Mediation Center

Oakland Mediation Center currently manages and administrates Michigan Behavioral Health Mediation Services in partnership with the Michigan Community Mediation Association to offer the program statewide with funding from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Oakland Mediation Center is an apolitical, non-profit, volunteer-based Community Dispute Resolution Program center whose volunteers represent and serve the community. Oakland Mediation Center serves as the point of contact for Community Mental Health or Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan participants seeking mediation, confirms eligibility, and refers cases to local Community Dispute Resolution Program centers.
